New Exhibit at MoMA shows creative connections

This past weekend, I had a chance to tour the Museum of Modern Art in the heart of Midtown.  Among the usual classic paintings, contemporary design pieces, film and photography, I stumbled across a unique exhibit located on the third floor. Talk to Me: Design and the Communication between People and Objects showcases the interactions we have with objects in our life, and how we create new meaning with them.  Collections range from unique music apps and QR code based stories, to playful emoticon displays and pneumatic platform shoes.  If you’re looking for some creative use of objects that shows how we communicate in interesting ways, this is not one to miss!  The exhibit is open during normal museum hours and runs until November, 7th.

Funny-looking hats meant for specific personalities

More emoticon fun, text says “you look beautiful just the way you are.”
