MOM-entum/Big Fuel, TheMOMS, Getting Gorgeous and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff Are Partnering to Present the First Annual Fashionable Mom Show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center.
Mom-entum has joined forces with The Moms, formerly known as Moms and the City, Getting Gorgeous and Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Director of Fashion at Lincoln Center and Fashion Consultant to IMG, to launch the first ever mom-focused fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. Little did we think when we first had the beginnings of this idea that it would turn out this kind of excitement. We are beyond jazzed and hope you will be, too.
STRUT-the Fashionable Mom show will be live streamed from Lincoln Center on February 16th at noon EST.
What makes this show so different is real moms will be walking the runway–social media moms who many of you will recognize. The Show will present styles by top designers as well as trendy, accessible pieces to create an effortlessly modern silhouette for the 21st-century mom. And everything you will see the moms wearing will be items you can buy in stores right now.
Please join Mom-entum, The MOMS and Getting Gorgeous on Thursday, January 19th for the first in a series of STRUT twitter parties and let’s get our virtual runway started leading up to the live stream. Please use the hashtag #StrutMoms
A percentage of all proceeds from the sale of clothing worn during Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show the show will be donated to charity.

The MOMS is a multi-platform lifestyle brand that is featured on television, online and in print: both across the country and in London. Award-winning journalists, TV hosts, trendsetters and entrepreneurs, these mom friends, Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein, founded The MOMS in 2012 after working together for two years as partners in Moms And The City. The MOMS is a blend of reality-based content, entertainment and information on parenting and fashion. Denise and Melissa can often be found on red carpets, talking with celebrity moms and dads or on TV, sharing their perspectives with a far-reaching audience. For the past year, THE MOMS co-hosted a TV show, Moms & the City and A Dad Named David (WNBC’s David Ushery). The show aired nationally in the top ten markets across the U.S. every week.
Founded by Audrey McClelland and Vera Sweeney in 2010, Getting Gorgeous provides everyday moms with the opportunity to relax and get pampered while connecting on social media sites. Through their Getting Gorgeous Events, Audrey and Vera bring bloggers face-to-face with their favorite fashion and beauty brands, including Hanes, Degree, Kmart Design, Tide, Miracle Body Jeans, Remington, Kodak, Lia Sophia, Goody Hair, Sketchers, ELF Makeup and Pier 1. The events have received coverage in the Washington Street Journal, on thousands of mom blogs and on Twitter, as trending topics.
